1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Vibhajan ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you disagree, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Vibhajan enables users to split expenses, track balances, and settle payments among friends, roommates, and groups. The Service facilitates expense management but does not process payments directly.
3. User Accounts
You agree to provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. Notify us immediately of unauthorized use.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to use the Service illegally, violate others’ rights, transmit malware, disrupt the Service, impersonate others, or collect user information without consent.
5. Financial Transactions
Vibhajan tracks expenses and balances but does not process payments. Users are responsible for verifying expense data, completing payments outside the app (e.g. UPI), and resolving disputes with other users.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service and its content are owned by Vibhajan and protected by intellectual property laws.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a license to use it as needed to provide the Service.
8. Service Availability
We strive for availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify or discontinue the Service at any time.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vibhajan is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Vibhajan from claims arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm other users or the Service.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
